For a description of this plug-in's contents, refer to About Business Modeling.
The new features and changes from version to version are described below.
A new package, Business Process Modeling, was added to describe the refinement of business use cases as a mechanism for
the initial decomposition of an abstract description of business process. Concept pages were added to describe the
elements of Component Business Modeling and Functional Area Analysis, as techniques for arriving at a definition of
business architecture.
The main change has been the addition of a new package providing guidance around the requirements flowdown approach.
This is a top-down approach of logically decomposing the business systems across multiple aspects driven by the chosen
architectural viewpoints and views. The externally visible behavior of the business (sub) systems is modeled using the
concept of operations. For more information, see the Define Business Operations Capability Pattern.
The previous content was not packaged in a plug-in, but it was part of the base RUP.
